CTE is a large opportunity for INDLS students. These courses are used to allow students to dig deeper into their future career interests prior to entering college or directly into the job field. CTE pathways also provide students with alternate routes to graduation. Questions about this can be answered by guidance counselors.
For students who entered high school prior to August of 2019 need 6 or more credits in a particular CTE area for it to be considered a completed pathway. Starting with first time freshman in 2019, each pathway has 2 core Perkins courses that must be completed for the pathway to be completed. Again, guidance counselors have specific information regarding requirements and course/pathway offerings.
